The area is well served by public transport:
Tram: numbers 3, 4; bus 90, 91, 92, 82, 41, 52, and 70.
Underground: yellow line, Maciachini.
It is also well connected to the main motorways, stations - Centrale, Cadorna, Garibaldi, Bicocca - and the airports of Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio.
By Car:
From Malpensa Airport:
- Follow the signs towards Milano.
- Take the ring road, Tangenziale Nord.
- Exit at Milano Certosa.
- Follow the signs towards Centro.
- Turn left at the junction with the bridge of Ghisolfa/Viale Monte Ceneri.
- Continue straight and take the overpass after the 3rd set of traffic lights.
- At the traffic lights of Piazzale Lugano, continue straight along Viale Bodio and Piazzale Nigra: the 3rd street on the left is Via Butti.
From Linate Airport:
- Follow the signs towards the ring road, Tangenziale Ovest.
- Exit at Milano Certosa.
- Then, as above.
From Orio al Serio Airport:
- Follow the signs towards Milano.
- Take the ring road, Tangenziale nord.
- Exit at Milano Certosa.
- Then, as above.
From the A04 Milano-Torino, A08 Milano-Laghi, A04 Milano-Venezia and A01 Milano-Bologna:
- At the toll gate exit, take the ring road, Tangenziale Nord.
- Exit at Milano Certosa.
- Continue towards Centro.
- Turn left at the junction with the bridge of Ghisolfa/viale Monte Ceneri.
- Then, as above.
From A07 Milano-Genova:
- At the exit continue, straight to the city centre.
- Cross the overpass.
- Once you get to the roundabout of Piazza Belfanti, turn left and continue along Viale Liguria and Viale Cassala, straight on along the external ring road.
- Take the overpass of Ponte della Ghisolfa in Piazzale Stuparich.
- At the traffic lights in Piazzale Lugano, go straight on Viale Bodio and Piazzale Nigra: the 3rd street on the left is Via Butti.
